Well, we did get some snow in the end on Friday night.
Nothing to write home about I guess this counts as writing home so scratch that! Anyway – there was about 5cm on top of the car Saturday morning so was on the first lift (Grand Alpe bubble, Chantemerle) at 9h00 for a couple of runs and to put down some fresh tracks.
There was probably 8-10cm of fresh up at the top but with a strong wind coming from the west so you could find some deep stuff where the wind had blown it into gullies and couloirs.
Only had time to do a couple of runs but covered about 17km of the mountain – and worked up an appetite for a good breakfast 😉
